Mission Report - Alison Leake
This is my first mission report for what seems like forever. But, I'm back and ready to share the success stories of Bootcampers 101 from the rooftops. This group have been together for nearly two years. Two years of support, encouragement, growth, butt kicking (when necessary)and friendship. Okay, I'll start with Alison. What a great few months this writer has had. And she deserves it. Her book, Dear Heart finaled in the FFS Category of the Windy City Four Seasons comp in which she placed, then won. Suprised you didn't hear the screaming. Her prize, the NY Agent has requested her full ms. This book is, rich and lyrical. Alison has woven a great plot around characters as wonderful as any i've read. A few weeks ago Alison delighted us with the news that Dear Heart had finaled in another Contest. This time in the FFS section of the Golden Gladdaugh. The winner will be announced on September 1st. Watch this space.

Oh my goodness Roseanne, we have been a group for almost two years coming this November. I can't remember life before.
Shout out to Alison and her great work!
It's great to see your group going strong (and with so mych success) after 2 years. I hope us 109ers can emulate the 101s.
I'm sure you will - after all you ARE Bootcampers!! :)
